During my SCREECH 2014 talk. I won the Second Prize, and was also awarded the Audience Choice Award.

I am a 3rd year PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University. I am co-advised by Dr. Arvind Rao and Dr. Ashok Veeraraghavan. My office is in Duncan Hall DH1034.



Research

My current research lies in the intersection of Computer Vision and Machine Learning, and its applications in Cancer imaging. Specifically, I design algorithms to learn visual features that help distinguish images belonging to different classes of Cancer(High Grade Glioma vs Low Grade Glioma for example). Further I also study image based relationships between cancer cells and immune cells, and derive measures that prognosticate outcome.
